Scholarships

The purpose of the IEC Foundation Scholarship Fund is to provide annual scholarships to both entering and continuing college students, technical or trade school students or apprenticeship students in an IEC-approved apprenticeship program, who are employees of contractor or associate member companies, their children or grandchildren. The fund was established in 2008 to provide an ongoing service to members of the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC). Scholarships are in the amount of $2,000 each. For apprentice students the scholarship is comprised of funding for tuition, books and tools. For college students, it is a full cash grant to be applied toward tuition.
