The IEC Foundation is pleased to announce that over $79,000 has been received as a result of the 2015 Home Depot Incentive Program.

The IEC Foundation would like to send a sincere thank you to The Home Depot and to the IEC contractors who have taken advantage of the program. Together, they have provided contributions that will significantly support the various IEC Foundation’s workforce development training programs.

The Home Depot Incentive Program is an exclusive reward program for IEC members and provides contractors with a 2% rebate on all pre-tax qualifying purchases. In addition to the rebate for contractors, The Home Depot donates one half percent of all sales in this program to the IEC Foundation. These donations help to provide the IEC Foundation with funding that helps to support the IEC community.

Independent electrical contractors that haven’t yet taken advantage of the incentive program, can still do so. By going to http://www.iec-foundation.org/ IEC contractors can register for the program. There is no cost to enroll. Rebate payments are issued annually within 60 days of the rebate period. The rebate period runs from January 1 to December 31.

Industry supporters, like The Home Depot’s Jeff Epstein, have helped the Foundation establish a great way for contractors to increase their buying power by saving money on their purchases while simultaneously supporting the various initiatives of the Foundation.

The Home Depot is acutely aware of the high cost of operating in today’s workplace. It is their hope that this program will help IEC contractors lower the cost of business, while increasing their profitability.

Since 1996 the IEC Foundation has been on a mission to provide IEC chapter members with training programs that include benefits and opportunities designed to support and enhance business growth.
